UK Approved and Notified Body – UKCA and CE+UKNI Marking
SCCS is both a UK Approved Body and a Notified Body (AB number 2273) in terms of the Construction Products (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulation 2019. Factory Production Control (UKCA or CE+UKNI marking) assessments are performed against BS EN 1090-1 for structural steel, BS EN 14399-1 for high strength structural bolting assemblies and BS EN 15048-1 for non-preloaded structural bolting assemblies.
