SCCS works closely with each of its clients throughout the certification and auditing services using a clear, staged and structured process.

COMPLETE APPLICATION

To apply for one or more of our services, simply register and complete an application online at steelcertification.co.uk.

QUOTATION

On receipt of your application, we will provide a quotation for our services.

GAP ANALYSIS (OPTIONAL)

Less experienced clients may wish to take advantage of a preliminary assessment and gap analysis to determine readiness for a full audit.

STAGE ONE

The process begins with a documentation review and preparation for the certification audit.

STAGE TWO

The certification audit takes place to determine whether your systems meet the requirements of the standard. For FPC assessments, you can now UKCA or CE and UKNI Mark your products.

SURVEILLANCE CYCLE

The certification lasts for three years before a full audit is required again. Surveillance visits take place once or twice per year dependent on the size of your operations.
